Texas Lottery's in- house game jackpot game, Texas Lotto, is buzzing all over the state. The game has drawn 65 times without a jackpot winner, generating a jackpot amount that is actually one of the greatest in a decade.

With no one winning the jackpot, the game’s jackpot has grown to a whopping amount of $36.75 million for the drawing of September 2, 2020 - the largest since May 29, 2020 drawing, when the game was boasting a huge sum of $97 million jackpot. The estimated cash value for Wednesday’s jackpot is $30.8 million, which is quite a lot for an in-house jackpot game.

So far in 2020, there has only been one Texas Lotto jackpot winner, claiming a jackpot of $17.5 million for the drawing held on 15th Jan 2020.

The last time the jackpot was this big was more than 10 years ago. The winning ticket was claimed semi-anonymously by The Bilmar Trust. It was in May 2018, when the advertised jackpot amount of $30.25 was claimed by a Houston resident, who purchased the winning ticket at MJ's All Season Food Store in Houston.

The largest jackpot in the history of Texas Lotto was an advertised amount of $145 million prize for the June 19, 2004 drawing, which was bought in El Paso and was claimed by VOM Enterprises, Ltd. Since the Lottery’s creation in 1922, it has awarded more than $6.48 billion in lottery prizes.
