The Texas Lottery is finally done with moving its headquarters and drawing studio to a new location in Austin. Previously located at the Grant Plaza on East Sixth Street, the Texas Lottery Commission will now be shifting to a newly furnished office at 1801 N. Congress Ave in George H.W. Bush building. As per the official statement given by Executive Director Gary Grief, "The Texas Lottery Commission is thrilled to announce its new home at the new state-of-the-art George H.W. Bush Building in the Texas Capitol Complex". He further added, "we look forward to welcoming visitors, especially the Texas Lottery Players to our new location".
The new establishment of the Offical Lottery will not only incorporate a drawing studio but also the Austin claim center.
Moreover, it is important to note here that the live draw times for the lottery games will not change. The players will still be able to watch the live drawings of their favorite lottery games at the studio four times a day, i.e. Monday through Saturday. The drawings will take place at usual timings i.e. 10:00 am, 12:27 pm, 6:00 pm, and 10:12 pm CT and you can watch them through the public viewing window at the northeast corner of N. Congress Ave and E. 18th Street. Also, the headquarters hosts an inside viewing area for visitors.
Also, the lottery recommends that public parking will be available in Garage R at the southeast corner of Brazos Street and E. 18th Street.
The lottery players can visit the new claim center in Austin, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CT.
So if you have any work or prize claims that need you to visit the Texas Lottery headquarters, you now know where to head to!
