This morning the Multi-State Powerball lottery officials announced that Powerball will increase the number of nightly draws from two times a week to three times a week starting August 2021.
The players of this million-dollar jackpot game will now have another shot at bagging the jackpot prize, now that they will be provided with a new Monday drawing added to the existing weekly drawing schedule.
In addition to the drawings held on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 10:59 EST, Powerball is all set to conduct a drawing every Monday night at the same time.
The Mississippi Lottery stated that their players really enjoy Powerball and it will be highly pleasing to offer them one more chance to win thereby increasing the possibilities of winning cash prizes every week.
The first Powerball Monday night drawing will be held on August 23, 2021. The players can pick their tickets for this draw starting Sunday, August 22, 2021.
The rules, odds, and the set cash prizes will not change with the addition of this drawing, with the ticket price remaining the same at $2.
