For the 8th time in the history of the U.S. lotteries, the Mega Millions jackpot has reached the mark of $600 million, leading to a hot sale of lottery tickets this week. The current Mega Millions jackpot has reached this high after no winning tickets were sold for Friday night’s grand prize of $520 million.

The lump-sum cash payout for Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is $442.4 million. The winning numbers for Friday's drawings were 3, 6, 16, 18, and 58, with Mega Ball number 11 and Megaplier number 2.

Even though nobody cracked the jackpot, a total of 84 tickets matched the four of the first five numbers plus the Mega Ball number to win a $10,000 prize. Out of these 84 tickets, 11 were sold with the Megaplier option, increasing the prize to $20,000 and 16 were sold in California, where the prize awarded for this drawing is $4,995.

The next Mega Millions drawing is all set to take place on Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
