On Monday, the Massachusetts Lottery announced that they will be shifting one of their prize claim centers to a different location. From November 9, 2020, the Western Mass Lottery Office will start its daily operations at a new address at 383 Memorial Avenue, Century Plaza in Springfield.
The current Lottery claim center at 20 Fort Street in Springfield will have its final day of operation on Friday, November 9.
The Western Mass Lottery Office functions as a Claim center as well as a Retail center and will be starting its day at 8:45 am on Monday. The newly moved claim center will follow the regular business hours starting from Monday to Friday, from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm, excluding the holidays. Massachusetts Lottery prizes worth $100,000 or less can be claimed at the Western Mass Claim Center now located in the new location. Lottery prizes above $100,000 must be claimed at Lottery Headquarters at 150 Mount Vernon Street in Dorchester.
Winners looking out to claim lottery prizes above $600 must present their winning ticket, proof of social security card, and a signed photo identification proof at the claim center.
