Dreams are now a reality for this lucky Kansas player, who dreamed of winning $25,000, but in reality, got the chance of winning three times the amount two days later from a Kansas Lottery scratch-off.
Just after two days of actually dreaming about winning a big prize in the lottery, Mason Krentz of Silver Lake went forward by winning a $75,000 top prize by playing the "100X" scratch-off game.
So, this sudden idea of playing a lottery was not inspired by just a dream, rather he used to regularly pick a few tickets on his way back home from work. Two days after this dream, he stepped into the Buy and Ride 7 on SE 15th Street in Topeka and picked out two scratch-off tickets — a "100X" ticket for $10 and a crossword-style ticket. Right after scratching off his ticket and winning the prize, the lucky winner immediately informed his family, who found it quite hard to believe until and unless they saw the ticket for themselves.
With his newfound wealth, Krentz plans on buying a new vehicle for his wife and a plot of land in Silver Lake. And what is left, he plans to invest in mutual funds. He explains the extra money can help them build a house eventually.
After Krentz bagged the prize, there is just one top prize of $75,000 left in the "100X" game, which launched in January. Approximately 52-second prizes of $1000 and 80 third prizes of $500 left to claim. So check your tickets once again, you might be a lottery winner.
