The Michigan Lottery came into existence with the beginning of the Green Ticket game on November 13, 1972. The first $1 million lottery prize was won by Hermus Millsaps of Taylor, Michigan on February 22, 1973. Daily 3 was introduced with other Terminal based games which commenced on June 6, 1977. Following Daily 3, the Daily 4 lottery was introduced in 1981. On August 13, 1984, the first “Michigan Lotto” was introduced by the lottery. Following them, Mega Millions and Fantasy 5 joined the club in 2002 and 2004 respectively.
