Cash4Life is a multi-jurisdictional American lottery drawing game. Currently, the game is offered by ten state lotteries and is drawn nightly. Cash4Life was actually also the name of a very different game offered from March 30, 1998, to September 7, 2000, by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). It was offered in Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Kansas, Minnesota, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia.

The Maryland Lottery was formed as a State Lottery Agency by constitutional amendment 1972. The Commission oversees lottery and gaming operations and regulations. Seven members constitute the Commission and they are appointed to four-year terms by the Governor with Senate advice and consent.
The mission of the Maryland Lottery is to generate revenue to support good causes in Maryland, including public health, education, public safety, and the environment.
