These appointed members meet the requirements of the Lottery Act with specifications that not more than three members can be from the same political party, one of the members must be a certified public accountant and one of the members must have at least three years of experience as a law enforcement officer. The commission is responsible for approving the Lottery’s budget and business plans to make sure that the financial proceedings and fundings run smoothly.
